All classes are 55 minutes unless otherwise stated. Classes included with membership are: Lift, Interval, Pilates, ABC, SPIN™/Yoga, Kick box, Seniors, SPIN™, Intro to Yoga, Step, Yoga, Water Exercise, Bosu and more. Infants or children under 12 years of age are not allowed in the studio or pool during class (except for teen classes).

Non-member class fees are $8.00 for one class or $65.00 for a 10-punch pass. Punch card expires three months from date of purchase. No refunds, credits, or replacements.

GROUP FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

ABC (Abs-Ball/Bosu-Core)
Focus is on stability, core strength, and balance. A true challenge for all. No cardio.

CARDIO+
A combination of cardio and resistance training. May include step or high-low cardio with balls, weights, tubing or bands for strength.

LIFT
A complete strength training class using weight bars, dumbbells, and balls. An excellent challenge for any fitness level.

STEP I & II
An all cardio step class that will offer optional choreography.

STEP+
A step class that will alternate cardio with strength training, using balls, weights, jump ropes, or exercise tubing.

YOGA II
Develop higher levels of strength, flexibility, balance, and tranquility. Some knowledge of yoga movements and breathing patterns are recommended and some modifications will be offered.

POWER YOGA
This amazing form of fitness sculpts strong, healthy bodies, using full body movements that encourage the body to move as nature intended. You will feel strong, calm, and energized.

INTRO TO YOGA
A class that will focus on comfort and breathing throughout basic yoga postures and will gently stretch, strengthen, and relax your body. Modifications and props will be used to enhance flexibility and balance for all populations and those with special needs.

PILATES MAT
This Joseph Pilates’ method of mental and physical condition will emphasize core strength, muscular balance, breathing, flexibility, and concentration. Modifications will be offered. All fitness levels are welcome.

PILATES I
This Joseph Pilates’ method of mental and physical condition emphasizes core strength, muscular balance, breathing, and concentration. Special attention will be applied to beginning movements and progression. Various props may be used.

PILATES II
The Pilates I, Joseph Pilates’ method is used with an added emphasis on self-challenge. A higher level of exercise difficulty will be shown and modifications will be offered.

SilverSneakers® I – Muscular Strength & Range of Movement
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
 

SilverSneakers® - Cardio Circuit
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.

 

SilverSneakers® SilverSplash®
Activate your aqua exercise urge for variety! SilverSplash® offers LOTS of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. No swimming ability is required, and a special SilverSneakers® kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination.

 

SilverSneakers® YogaStretch
YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

PILATES REFORMER CLASSES
 
Pilates is often referred to as a mind/body/form of exercise. Pilates is a process, with the main goal being postural correction and enhancement of performance.

The perfect complement to your aerobic & fitness program, the benefits of Pilates are:

  • Feelings of serenity, invigoration, and self awareness.
  • Muscle toning and strengthening,
  • Increased flexibility.

Single sessions are available at $15.00 through our customer service desk. Single sessions are for participants that have completed one five (5) week session.

SPIN CLASSES

ENDURANCE
Increase aerobic capacity & fat metabolism. Focus on continually training the body to use energy more efficiently.
 
INTERVAL
Offers options for every level of fitness. Challenges both the anaerobic and aerobic energy systems involving high intensity work followed by recovery.
 
STRENGTH
Increases cardiovascular strength & muscular endurance through slow, steady resistant work. Recovery is critical.
 
ENERGY ZONE
Involving a combination of energy zones: endurance, strength, and intervals.
 
INSTRUCTOR’S CHOICE
A selection of one of the above class formats.
Spinning Etiquette:
  • Arrive 10 minutes early and plan to stay for the entire class.
  • Water bottles and a towel are required.
  • Gel seat or biking shorts recommended.
  • Heart rate monitors are recommended.

WATER (W.E.T.) CLASSES

W.E.T. (Water Exercise Training)
A combination of deep and shallow water cardiovascular and strength training exercises. Non-swimmers welcome. Intensity variations will be offered.

SPLASH
A lighter approach to exercise for all populations.
DEEP WATER
Noodles, buoyancy belts, and buoys are utilized in this deep-water workout.
INSTRUCTOR’S CHOICE
This class may include balls, tethers or noodles in deep and/or shallow water.
W.E.T. CIRCUIT
Alternating strength and cardiovascular training exercises in place or moving from station to station in deep or shallow water.
WET N' WEIGHTS
55 minute workout designed for both the deep and shallow of our pool.  This combo class will challenge anyone male or female to build muscle while poolside.  Hydrofit weights and 70-90% water belles are used with body floatation devices.

SilverSneakers® SilverSplash®

Never 2 Late Classes

A class designed for all ages and all populations who want or need a lighter approach to exercise.  To increase strength, cardiovascular fitness, balance, coordination, and flexibility.

STUDIO
A combination of cardiovascular training, strength training, balance and flexibility exercises.

PILATES I
Basic Level one Pilates exercises designed to increase strength and flexibility, utilizing proper breathing and concentration techniques.

YOGA I
Basic gentle yoga poses designed to enhance flexibility and strength.   It is offered at a slower pace with modifications for all populations.

TREKKING
A 30-minute walk, using the treadmill or track to improve cardiovascular fitness.

WEIGHT CIRCUIT
Strength training using weight machines.

SPLASH
A variety of water exercises to improve cardiovascular fitness and strength with less stress to the joints. You do not have to know how to swim.

SPORTS CONDITIONING ( Ages 14+ )
Focus is on cardiovascular development, core strength development, speed and agility. Will include base training, power training and coordination training.

GROUP FITNESS INSTRUCTOR TRAINING
THEORY –Preparation for the National Certification Group Fitness exam. SKILL DEVELOPMENT – Learn how to teach group fitness classes. Learn to build and Breakdown choreography with ease, develop cueing skill and understand musical phrasing. For information call: 801-261-3426 ext. 118

PERSONAL TRAINER TRAINING
THEORY –Prepare for the National Personal Trainer exam. Learn basic Anatomy, Kinseology, Physiology, Nutrition, Legal issues, Professionalism
PRACTICAL APPLICATION- Fitness testing, exercise execution, external resistance.

CYCLE CAMP
This 18 week cycling program, designed by USA cycling coach J.R. Smith, will follow a per iodization schedule over three 6 week phases and will include nutrition information while competing, Vo2 max watt test and 10 rides per week to meet the cyclists individual training goals.
