If you believe this is a real critter, then the Sports Mall
has been sold.
If, however, you are
more interested in facts and the guarantees of the Sports Mall management, then there is no truth to the rumor that the Sports
Mall has been sold. Ellis Ivory hasn’t bought it, nor has Murray City, nor Donald Trump. So please, if you hear people
saying the Sports Mall is sold and closing in 3 years, or 3 months, tell them you have a bridge in Brooklyn they would
love to buy and you know someone that will give them a great deal.
Rick Billings, Tennis Director
The recent $100,000 we just spent for renovations wasn't for curb
appeal for some new buyer. Upgraded HVAC, basketball court floor refinishing, racquetball court repairs, etc. are for
the ongoing enjoyment of the club by our members. If we were selling/closing, we may as well have flushed that $100K
down the drain. The sell rumor makes no sense.
Paul Fotheringham, Chief Bean Counter
The Sports Mall is healthy, and happy, and looks forward to continuing
our long term relationships with our members. We will still be here when all the others have come and gone.
Brent Cook, President and General Manager
